What are the qualifications for the Political Pixie Awards?

The Political Pixie Awards are open to anyone currently producing political work. There is a two-year window of eligibility for work produced between January 1, 2022, and the entry deadline are eligible. Please also note submitted work must be either in the English language or subtitled to be eligible.

Can I enter a piece in more than one category?

Yes. You can submit the same piece in multiple categories. Please note the entry fee applies for each category entered.

How is judging done?

Entries are judged on a standard of excellence, not against each other. Entries scoring 80% or higher on a 100 point scale qualify as winners for the Political Pixie Award. Winners will be notified by email.

How will winning entries be publicized?

All Political Pixie Award Winners will be listed on our website and announced in a press release to the industry. In addition, winners will be provided with a press release, photos of the awards, and other items you can place with your local media and include in any digital and print marketing.

How should I prepare my entry?

Your entry must be uploaded digitally through our portal. Before submitting video entries, we recommend you upload your video(s) to a Vimeo or YouTube account, at the highest recommended bit rate.

How do I send my entry?

We only accept online entries via our portal. When you fill in the entry form, you will be asked for a URL to view your entry online (Vimeo, YouTube, etc…) or upload a file of your submission. If the work is password-protected, enter the password in the Password section during the submission process.

What information do I need to submit with my entry?

For political entries, please submit a description of your role in the project, the context of the project, the goal of the project, and the effectiveness of your work.

How do winners order awards?

As soon as the judging is complete, all entrants are notified about their entries by email. Winners are allowed to download award graphics to use in digital or print marketing. As a winner, you may order statuettes and have access to an exclusive winners store. These awards may be personalized as the winner chooses. You may also purchase awards for clients, as well as for the production team.

Do you accept entries outside the US?

Yes. We accept entries from Canada.

Statuette Refunds

Statuette orders are non-refundable and not eligible for return. All sales are final. If you have a question, please contact entries@thepixieawards.com.

If upon receipt, a statuette is damaged or there is an error in engraving, please contact us at entries@thepixieawards.com for further information and instructions.
